Tenet Of Freedom And Belief

Faith is the belief in something that cannot be proven.

Much of religious belief is rooted in knowledge passed down through external sources—accounts that cannot always be directly verified, often described as hearsay. Countless people follow the teachings of sacred texts without ever having encountered their original authors, and billions place faith in divine beings based on stories of miracles witnessed by others, often generations removed from the events themselves.

Yet dismissing faith entirely is its own form of error. Faith is not exclusive to religion alone. Just as the most devoted spiritual leader cannot present undeniable proof of a higher power, the scientist who insists there is no deity in existence also cannot offer absolute certainty. Both perspectives rely on belief to explain what remains beyond human understanding.

There is no conclusive proof of God, but neither is there conclusive proof against God. If science cannot definitively rule out the existence of a higher power, then it must acknowledge that such a possibility remains.

The deepest doubt builds the strongest faith.

The religious foundation of the Illuminati is rooted in this timeless balance between faith and uncertainty. Rather than dwelling on whether a higher power exists or does not exist, our focus remains on the advancement and betterment of humanity on this planet. Our choices are shaped through the careful study of evidence and data—elements that, if influenced by an all-knowing force, may serve as instruments to guide our actions and shape the future of mankind.

Be wary of those who use our name.

For many years, numerous individuals have acted under the name of the Illuminati, and through their deception, they have distorted public understanding of our organization. This has led many to believe that acts of wrongdoing are carried out under our authority.

To claim that the Illuminati is bound to any single religious belief—whether tied to God, Satan, Baphomet, Baal, or any other deity—misrepresents the very essence of our independence from the divisions of mankind. We neither affirm nor reject any god, nor do we place one above another. Our purpose is devoted solely to the welfare and preservation of the human species entrusted to our care.

More disturbing accusations, such as human sacrifice and violent ritual practices, have also been falsely connected to our name. While individual members may follow whatever spiritual path they choose, the Illuminati as a collective remains committed only to the protection and advancement of humanity. Any act, including sacrifice or harmful ritual, that does not contribute to the betterment of mankind stands in direct opposition to our principles and is therefore forbidden.

Must a god exist for you to do what is right?

Would a being of infinite wisdom, knowledge, and power place importance on the name spoken in worship? Would such a force demand harm against another when justice could be fulfilled without human hands? Instead, seek to act with righteousness and goodwill for the betterment of humanity, trusting that whatever higher power may exist will recognize and reward your care for the world and its people.
